This preclinical course provides dental students with a foundational understanding of oral and maxillofacial surgery before entering the clinical phase. It emphasizes the acquisition of diagnostic, aseptic, and procedural skills essential for safe and effective oral surgical practice. Students will be introduced to the principles of diagnosis, history taking, examination, infection control, and local anesthesia through interactive lectures, demonstrations, and simulation exercises.
